Core Leave 2012

I'm gonna have my core leave of 10 days next month. 10 effin days. But I still haven't decide what to do - other than stay at home.

But one thing I don't understand - why do people think that you must go for a vacation during your long leave? I got people around me asking what's my plan and where would I go in that planned 10-day leave, and they were quite amused when I said I don't have any plans other than to stay at home.

Yes I understand, that this length of time might be the only chance in this whole year for me to get around, travelling.

But seriously? Can't I just relax for that full 10 days? It's not like I'll be relaxing every day; I still would have to fetch me dad from his dialysis every Tue, Thu and Sat. I still would cook for the entire family (at home), do some house cleaning + washing laundry, buy groceries, etc.

It's not that I have a knack for travelling pun.

Especially if I go somewhere with the people whose company I won't be enjoying, or they won't enjoy mine. Who don't have the same level of thinking as mine and vice versa. Who would want me to chip in fares to go places they want to go or do things they want to do, but not mine.

And it's not that I can't travel alone. The only thing that would put me off is me not leaving the paid-for bed to enjoy the surrounding scenery or something like that. Like, pergi jauh2 tapi duk kat bilik dan tido je?

Dah dasar pemalas. Baik takyah pergi.

I think I'd rather save all that money for my expensive trip next year.

Hoookaaaayy.

I know this has been a trend - me going on Blogspot after a length of time, said hi, made a little update, just to go off for another length of time.

Yet again, it's not because that I don't have any ideas - I do, lots of them, but when they're around I would normally be busy doing something else. And when I actually went to create a post, they'll be gone.

Hmm takpelah.

So instead of me giving updates of what had happened in that length of time, I think It would be better if I put something that's is on my mind right now?

Sebenarnya ada masa menaip ni, bukan la sebab ada masa. But then, sebab wiken ni agak rajin, so I actually completed about 2/3 of my translation work which is due on the 23rd.

Quick update before I go to sleep.

1. No, I did not get the position that I applied for. And yes, I'm thankful - bad news for you (the monkey), though. Since you (the monkey) expected me to be utterly depressed and miserable for not getting it. Well yeah I'm just assuming. Since you (the monkey) like to assume I like to assume. Ok let's cut it here.

2. Lost two of my watches within a span of 2 weeks. Bought the same one as the first one (but different color) yesterday. Through eBay. Desperately wanted the same one, thus that happened.

3. Methinks I'm now in the phase of not interested in group chatting anymore. Being the antisocial person I am, twas a bit awkward sending whatapps messages to a group I newly joined which consists of the ladies of my school batch.

4. I regret playing Triple Town. I've to say byebye to $3.99 (methinks) to get the full version. This is coming from me who initially said the phone is for normal phone activities incl. occasional online experiences. Not for games, she said.

5. Lapar.

Makan2 celebrating me dad's 60th birthday. Alhamdulilah he's still here with us.

It was quite funny when I...

1. Set the alarm to ring in 5 minutes after isya' prayers;
2. Waited for the alarm to ring;
3. Switched the alarm off;
4. Fell asleep for ten minutes after that.

As if that alarm was a snooze.

Saya ketinggalan bas, jadi ini untuk mengisi masa lapang.

Pada ketika ini saya berada di surau office. Hasrat di hati nak balik naik bas jam 220 tadi, tapi apakan daya, setelah menunggu sampai 240 tiada bas mahupun van langsung.

Terpaksa pasrah.

Lalu saya pun naik semula ke atas dan pergi solat isyak. Nak solat terawih, takut terlepas the next bus pulak.

Tak pasal2 kena pasrah lagi.

Ni kalau kul 320 takde bas gak... sahur kat padi la nampaknya.

I've lost count how many times I wanted to blog recently. There's a lot of things on my mind. But then it seems like I do not have the time to arrange my words properly, due to the lack of time partly, and the lack of enthusiasm mostly. Ah well.

Ramadan is approaching, just around the corner. But somehow I don't think I'm as excited as before. Most probably caused by the hectic months faced previously, and the sloppy new sitting arrangements contribute to this largely. Up til now, I still have not got my telephone extension. Which is very <i>great</i>.

Sigh.

Only two days back I was (this) much inclined to draft my resignation letter, but then I thought about my commitments and I regressed.

Sigh.

Oklah. I'm already halfway on my journey to Cyberjaya. Gonna take a short nap before reaching the office.

Because I was mad at someone (and also myself), I have resorted to opt out the social media where I have most friends, because, apparently, I should not and have no point having them all.

Lepas ni kalau kena kacau dengan nyamuk lagi, maybe i'll opt out twitter? I don't really have that many friends on twitter pun... entahlah.

Weekend baru ni kan pegi Kedah for majlis Cia belah lelaki pulak. I dunno, maybe because I was too tired or not enough sleep, petang Sabtu tu aku pi bantai tidur instead of following mom to Pekan Rabu yang sangat hampir dengan hotel. And the next morning pulak lepas breakfast pi sambung tidur sampai masa untuk berkemas dan checkout.

Bila dah balik rumah, baru terasa macam loser. I mean, I was geared up with my digihari and should take the opportunity to grab some pics for my tumblr updates.

Instead, it seems like sleep is much more important to me. Aigoo. I am thirty plus YO, and I think I should see the world more before it's too late, don't you think?

Can somebody take me away please?

Humpty Dumpty Had A Great Fall

Had a dream this afternoon. I was inside a bus when suddenly I was suspended in the air for a short while and had a free fall. It was an earthquake. What happened afterwards was what you normally see in the movies.

But the feeling of the suspension and the free fall was real.
